There's something special about Darwin. Sure its hot - and bloody steamy in summer - but if you can accept the sweat, and embrace the "frontier" vibe, it is a dead set cracker. Oh yeah....and the winters are superb.

Breathtaking scenery teeming with wildlife, living culture, strenuous walks and refreshing waterholes. Kakadu has it all....but it is a big joint, so plan carefully too avoid messing up your visit!

Ancient and special. Once across the infamous Cahills Crossing, and traveling the floodplain below the rugged crags of the Arnhem Land escarpment, time changes. Space changes.

Even after one of the driest wet seasons in living memory - Katherine Gorge is awe inspiring.  The sheer volume of water held in the 13 gorges as the Katherine River winds its way out of the Kakadu National Parks is hard to fathom

Just a quick 110km stint down the Highway from Katherine had us at Bitter Springs in Elsey National Park - and what a sensational little spot this is.
